“In matters of conscience, the law of the majority has no place.” ― Mahatma Gandhi.

Religion has no place in Governance in a Democracy, unless it is a Democracy where "All People are Equal but Some People are More Equal than Others".

When the law was made in 1950 then it was clearly mentioned in the Indian Constitution how citizenship will be given to anyone who was born here. Anyone who has lived here for 11 years will get citizenship whether Hindu, Sikh, Christian or Muslim."

What is Sad is in a War no side will agree it is at fault. All this violence and bloodshed in the name of God and Religion and we are all victims as we are born into one religion or the other for no fault of ours. Religious Conflict is the main reason why the world is in such mess in 2020 ? Chaaha Hai Kya ? Paaya Hai Kya? Just pain and misery. Sad world we live in. Can Gods not take the responsibility and resolve this feud between themselves. Australian Fires brought the people together CAA fires have divided the Nation on religious grounds. Sad but True.

Karnataka CM withdraws compensation to family of those killed in Mangaluru police firing

Days after Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa announced the compensation amount of Rs 10 lakh to the family of two people killed in the police firing during anti-CAA protests in Mangaluru, the decision was withdrawn Wednesday.

On December 22, Yediyurappa had announced compensation to the next of kin of those killed in the police firing on December 19. After meeting the senior officials of the Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday, the CM said, “We have not decided yet to give the compensation to the family members who were killed in the police firing, because giving criminals compensation is an unpardonable crime in itself.”

Replug: Women take the lead at Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh sit-in: NRC will have devastating impact on families

As the 24*7 non-stop-rally at Shaheen Bagh continues today, here's a look at how yesterday's rally shaped up after women took the lead.

A sharp voice pierces through the noise of women chatting, girls giggling and infants bawling. The men are mostly on the margins. “Aap logon ko bola tha paanch minute chup rehne ke liye; aap wo bhi nahi kar sakte? (I requested you to keep quiet for five minutes; can’t you even do that?)” A hush descends. Humera Sayed (22) has effortlessly managed to silence a crowd comprising women more than twice her age. “The thing is, when I am on stage, I feel like I own it,” Sayed, pursuing BSc from Delhi University’s Gargi College, says later. Over the last 10 days, Shaheen Bagh has emerged as the focal point of resistance against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the proposed National Register of Citizens (NRC).
